The level of performance is the embodiment of the core competitiveness of banks in China, full liberalization of financial markets, large influx of foreign banks under the circumstances, the Bank of China increased competition among banks in order to survive and develop, we must improve operational performance, This is their own development needs, but also to adapt to social and economic development and the fierce market competition. Many scholars of the capital structure of the operating performance of a great deal of research, but so far not reached the same conclusion. In China in terms of asset size and quality point of view from the company listed banks in the banking sector occupies a pivotal position, so the capital structure of listed banks to analyze the impact the operating performance has great practical significance.This article is divided into five parts. The first part is a literature review, describes the impact of existing relevant literature on bank performance, and its evaluated; second part of the capital structure of commercial banks on the theoretical basis of operating performance, including capital structure theory, performance-related Bank capital structure theory and impact on the theoretical analysis of business performance; the third part of the capital structure of listed banks and Performance Analysis, in this part of the bank's capital structure and operating performance of a defined, measurable indicators were selected, with 2009 31 December of the relevant data on the capital structure of listed banks in the current situation and business performance analysis; fourth part is the capital structure of listed commercial banks operating performance impact on the empirical analysis, which is the main part of this article. This section introduces the empirical research design, and proposed research hypotheses, followed by a description of the sample bank of the statistical analysis, and finally to the capital structure on the performance of the empirical analysis. The fifth part is the conclusions and recommendations. This is the concluding part of this thesis, this part of the empirical analysis of the results were summarized, and conclusions based on empirical analysis of commercial banks to optimize capital structure and improve operational performance recommendations.The innovation of this paper may be in the existing literature on the basis of re-defining the capital structure of listed banks and operating performance measures, their characteristics were adjusted for banks; in the capital structure of banks impact on business performance empirical analysis, while section data and time series data were analyzed, the analysis reached the following conclusions: first, the nature of major shareholders and shareholding ratio is negatively related to bank performance; The proportion of the top five shareholders with an inverted U-shaped bank performance; subsidiary capital ratio was positively correlated with operating performance; unlimited proportion of shares sold, the capital adequacy ratio and operating performance there is no significant correlation.
