A Study On The Cultivation Of The Forestry And Fruit Industry In Southern Xinjiang

Although the economy of southern Xinjiang is relatively backward, agriculture, especially the forestry and fruit industry, has a comparative advantage in Xinjiang. How to form the advantages and agglomeration effects of the forestry and fruit industry is the purpose of the research. Following the approach of theory-to-practice and the application of economic analysis, the research defines the connotation of featured forestry and fruit industry and its industrial. Meanwhile, the related theories are reviewed. Then by empirical analysis, the featured forestry and fruit industry in southern Xinjiang is selected according to the advantages of natural resources, market and scale, and the layout of the industrial belt is also divided. Finally, policies and proposals for the building of horticulture feature industry are put forward.The specific content of the thesis is as follows:Chapter I, Introduction, expounds the background and basis of choosing the topic to develop the featured forestry and fruit industry. Chapter 2 is literature review of the cultivation of featured forestry and fruit industry, which focuses on two issues:firstly, the related concepts concerning the featured forestry and fruit industry are defined, and secondly, the theory basis of the formation and development of featured forestry and fruit industry is explored to prepare the theoretical basis for the cultivation of the featured forestry and fruit industry. Chapter III concerns the selection of the fruit feature industry. First of all, the selection principles and the evaluation index system are studied. Then the quantitative analysis is carried out by the comparative advantage analysis and the advantageous featured forestry and fruit industry in southern Xinjiang is determined. Chapter IV is about the cultivation of the featured forestry and fruit industry. To start with, regional differences in comparative advantage, with application of the location quotient analysis, are calculated and compared within the 5 states in southern Xinjiang and the four Divisions of the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps, and then featured forestry and fruit industry are divided on the basis of the above analysis. In Chapter V, the writer put forward some policies and proposals for the establishment of featured forestry and fruit industry in southern Xinjiang.The theoretical innovation of the study focuses on the following several aspects:(1) systematically constructing the theoretical basis of featured forestry and fruit industry and exploring its background and theoretical basis; (2) proposing and utilizing the definite number-models of featured forestry and fruit industry; (3) proposing operable policies and suggestions for the cultivation of featured forestry and fruit industry in southern Xinjiang.
