For a long time, due to the influence of the traditional planned economic system and the soviet's ideology of laying stress on industry at the expense of agriculture, the economic development in rural areas in China falls far more behind than that in urban areas and carries the characteristics of high resources consumption, small-scale peasant production, and extensive mode of development etc.. In our country, the dual economic structure in urban and rural areas is the institutional reason for the rural-urban gap. And the widening of the disparities in development between urban and rural areas brings forward severe trial to rural economic development. As the information age approaches, this kind of dual characteristic also exhibits the expanding"the numeral gap"between urban and rural areas. Report of the Seventeenth National Congress of the Communist Party of China has proposed that the strategic task of transforming the economic development pattern is the fundamental approach to promote sound and rapid economic growth and ensure the establishment of a moderately prosperous society in all respects. At present, the tendency of information globalization has already surmounted the economic and political globalization and become the significant matter in society. Whether this opportunity can be held or not concerns the modernization of rural economy society. Therefore, in order to implement the urbanization strategy, facilitate the urban-rural integration and build a new socialist countryside, the economic development pattern in rural areas needs to be transformed. From the angle of capital operation, Marx's theoretical system of economic growth not only criticizes the capitalist economy system and the vulgar plutonomy, but also profoundly reveals the role that capital plays in the operation process in society. Based on the Marx's theory of economic growth, this paper carries on the analysis of the economy-influencing factors under the socialist market economic system like human capital, funding investment, technology education and policy, etc, so as to study their influence on the transformation of economic development pattern in rural areas. The thesis focuses on the empirical study as well as the normative study. There are two creations: on one hand, partial achievements of the investigation on economic development in multi-national areas during the last two years are added as empirical material for the research; on the other hand, apart from the analysis on economical elements, factors like technology, labor force and so on are also analyzed by using references of mathematical tools and modes of western scholars. In the light of historical materialism and according to the way of rural economic development, the thesis holds that the"top down"innovative approach and the"bottom up"managerial method should be integrated in this new age to promote the transformation of the rural economic growth pattern in our country. In the concluding part the bold assumption of"intelligent countryside"has been proposed whose possibility and feasibility in practice has been demonstrated and verified, and the basic strategy and specific scheme for its realization has also been put forward.
