Under such circumstance, recognize timely self strategic resource exploit and apply it creatively; hence, to form self core competence making the company gaining durable competitive advantages is the important problem in front of Xingtai Municipal Construction Group.This thesis first analyzes the Xingtai Municipal Construction Group's development situation at present, then, using core competitiveness theory and resource-based theory, analyses the Xingtai Municipal Construction Group's influence factors of the core competence. Secondly, this thesis analyzed the relationship between the influence factor and the core competence. Through the analysis of this thesis, the influence factor of the core competence of the Xingtai Municipal Construction Group are qualification resource, talents resource, strategic information resources and strategic relationship resources, the organization and management mechanism and other strategic resources. The development and innovative application of these resources constitutes the core competitiveness of the Xingtai municipal construction group.Through investigation and analysis, the author holds that, marketing ability, project management skills and service innovating ability is the essential target of Municipal Construction Group in cultivating core competence. Through the analysis of the relationship between the strategic resources and the core competence, this thesis draws up the scheme about Xingtai Municipal Construction Group cultivating core competence.
