The Empirical Analysis Of Commercial Bank's Corporation Governance In Our Country Based-On Efficiency

Banking is a special industry which operates currency, also a concentration and redistribution center of a huge amount of money. It involves every department of our country, so it is a barometer of national economic development. In recent years, with the development of global economic integration, the bank also internationalized and its cross-border business activities increase gradually. In China, foreign bank branches are rising gradually, on the one hand, the foreign Banks that came in to China make the competition of the local commercial bank market keener, on the other hand, there would be more challenges for the local banks in the aspects of resisting the risk, in order to resist the risk reasonably and to become winner in the intense competition environment, China's commercial banks must be managed effectively, and improve their competitiveness fundamentally.On the basis of the research achievements about current commercial bank's corporation governance and its efficiency. Firstly, this thesis analyzes the particularity of the corporation governance of local banks and its present situation. Select China Citic Bank and other 12 commercial local Banks as the sample, collect data, select indicators, using DEA (data envelopment analysis) to analyze the local commercial bank efficiency status, and then make a conclusion. Secondly, the research constructs the commercial bank's corporation governance evaluation index system, form a model of evaluation index system, and choose some samples from each part of the model, then analyze them carefully, and give the true score of these samples. Get the evaluation score of each samples and the total score evaluation index. To illustrate how much influence that each part of commercial bank's corporation governance and the general level of management have on commercial bank efficiency, this study constructs tobit model and analyze it further by statistical software, then make conclusions.Finally, according to the conclusions of the empirical research, this thesis puts forward some specific measures on how Chinese commercial Banks could governed themselves effectively and improve their own competitiveness in the intense competition of the keen market environment. Hope that the conclusion of this thesis can provide some useful information to the local business banks, and provide reference for the researchers in this field in the future.
