With the development of economic globalization, the oversea R&D branches were set up by multinational corporations to maintain advantages. However, the oversea R&D branches were faced with the situation How to correspond to the strategy of multinational corporations, and promote the value. Such issues will be discussed in the dissertation from the View of H corporation China R&D branch.Firstly, the function and organization form was analyzed on the oversea R&D branches of multinational corporations in theory. Then, the issues H corporation China R&D branch is facing were listed, and we can find that it's a good chance making function promotion of China R&D branch through the analyse on the industry environment, influence factores, development trend and H corporation strategy. What's more, SWOT Analyse tool was adopted to find out the strength and opportunity, and Position Theory based on STP Analyse was carried out to define what kind of R&D unit China R&D branch shall be. Finally, approach and risk control process was particularized to reach the positioning.The research combined with positioning theory and reverse innovation theory brings out a new method on promotion of corporation R&D branches. The strategy can also be reference to the similar corporation.
