With the acceleration of global economic integration, the competition between enterprises has been replaced by the competition between supply chains, and the global supply chain competitive comes. However, the increasingly complex market environment leads supply chain to face more uncertainty.Uncertainty is a major obstacle for supply chain network design and management. Supply chain network designs are strategic level decision-making; therefore, decision-makers favor the structure of the supply chain network, which should have a strong anti-risk ability. That is say has strong robustness. Traditional supply chain network design is generally assumed that the supply chain environment is certain. Clearly, this assumption in today's rapidly changing market environment is unreasonable. Therefore, combining existing research results and shortcomings of the current study, design of robust supply chain network under demand uncertainty are researched.Demand uncertainty is one of the most important supply chain uncertainties, so demand uncertainty is the beginning of this robust supply chain network design. It is noteworthy that demand uncertainty in this paper is essentially different from demand volatility in the traditional literature. Demand scenarios are analyzed, which have the impact of supply chain network structure. Development process of demand scenario and the expression of demand uncertainty are given in this paper. The development of robust optimization theory is summarized .Combining with the research question, expression of robust optimization is proposed.Based on the research for above two problems, an optimal model is developed for the design of a robust supply chain network under demand uncertainty .The strategic level and operational level of supply chain are discussed. The objective function is the minimum of the solution robustness and model robustness. The constraints of this model include robustness constraints, supply chain network structure constraints, material balance, traffic constraints, the ability constraints, non-negative constraints and so on; with model characteristics and scale of the problem, the principle of solving the model is discussed; In order to get a better initial solution and better Initial population, the initial solution generation algorithm is designed. And then MGAND algorithm is developed.Numerical cases are designed, including: the effectiveness test of MGAND algorithm; comparing the search efficiency of algorithm under different initial population; evaluating the performance of the supply chain network designed by robust optimization model. The simulation result shows that the model and the heuristic algorithm is efficient, the performance robust supply chain network designed by robust optimization model is nice.In this paper, the research of robust supply chain network design is based on the uncertainty of demand; the result shows that robust supply chain has a good ability to resist uncertainty. This study is considered to have use for reference to the supply chain design under uncertainty for companies.
