Lead Time Improvement Study For Water Analysis In Novo Nordisk (China) Pharmaceutical Co. Ltd

As the basic quality management method, Deming Cycle is a kind of the logical business program which can process any business efficiently. It is a kind of management method and a scientific business program of the Epistemology of Science.This thesis stands on the difficulties study of lead time for water analysis in Novo Nordisk (China) Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd., and put it into practice using Deming Cycle. The issues are found, analyzed and resolved by laboratory investigation.First, the history, main products, research direction of Novo Nordisk Co. are introduced. And the water analysis project status is described.Second, the import of the Lean Sigma and quality improvement in Novo Nordisk Co. and the departments'functions in quality improvement activities in Tianjin plant are introduced. After comparing with other quality improvement tools, the reason choosing Deming Cycle is described.Third, the water analysis project is analyzed by Deming Cycle, the lead time of water analysis is reduced definitely after two Deming Cycles performed in the laboratory.Last, the lead time improvement project of water analysis is summarized. A reasonable plan for the coming project which is regarding insulin filling validation analysis using the experience from water analysis project is made, and some of the experience from water analysis in the laboratory for management is kept.
