Studies On Vegetables Export Development In Fengxian District

Analyzing the vegetables export data from2007to2011, this paper isbased on the investigation of vegetable export companies in Fengxian,Shanghai to point out the current situation and development trend ofvegetables export. The results evidently showed that the weight and therevenue of vegetables export were totally increasing in recent5years, and theexport prices of each kind were different. The weight and revenue of freshmushroom wereconstantly increasing and the price was declining after2010.The weight and revenue of fresh vegetable wereincreasing quickly after2010'sdownturn, while the price was conversely declining after2010's rising. Dryvegetables showed a sustained growth trend. The main markets locate in NorthAmerica, EU, Japan and Southeast Asia. Each kind of vegetable met variousbarriers on export. On the basis of which, the paper discusses the trend ofexport vegetables' development and gives suggestions and promising views.
