Research On The Regional Economic Integration Development Strategy Within The West Coast Of Taiwan Strait Economic Zone

Since reforming and opening up the West Coast of Taiwan Strait Economic Zone has accomplished the rapid development of economy, but also exacerbated the uneven development within the region. Because of the administrative division and management system and other various reasons, the region lacks effective coordination between the city development mechanism and the necessary division of labor, and restricts the further improvement of the competitiveness of the region. Along with economic globalization and the growing trend of regional integration, the new emerging of the integration and coordination of regional development advantages provides a new approach to the regional economic integration development strategy within the Western Shore of Taiwan Strait Economic Zone .In this paper, the reality of the West Coast Economic Zone, through the analysis of regional economic integration development, the study of the coordination mechanism within the regional economic zone and the establishment of the basic conceive of the economic integration and development has made continuous progress of the economic integration. By enhancing the comprehensive competitiveness of regional economies, and then promoting the sustainable development of regional economic integration within the economic zone.
