This paper discusses the basic theoretical knowledge of the domestic and international project management, and introduces the common project management organization structure and the project management mode of EPC project. By studying the project management knowledge, I have analyzed the problems of project management process that the Industrial Control Engineering Department of 718th Research Institute of China Shipbuilding Industry Corporation, and I points out its irrationality that my company's organizational structure and its project management mode. Finally, I'll establish the selection method and the authorization system of project manager, and I'll put forward some suitable project management mode and organizational structures for the company's development.It's the main research contents that the project management knowledge will have being applied in the Pulverized Coal Injection EPC engineering, The Pulverized Coal Injection as the supporting industry of metallurgy industry which has according with our national policy can play a significant role for saving coke and for enhancing energy efficiency, and its application prospect in the market will be very extensive.During the research, we make full use of five process and nine knowledge system of the project management knowledge. According to Microsoft project 2003, project scope management, schedule management, cost management, quality management, and the completion acceptance is discussed in the key sides. At last, the engineering Project organization and team members are described.
