Abstract/Summary:
Field Research Methods were used to study the joint-stock reform of state-owned geotechnical company A. According to the interviews with Superiors and staff, the status of the company both before and during reforming was acquired. And on the basis of information gained from the interviews, the reform program and management approach made by the company were studied in detail. After collecting the company's original management practices within the production and management responsibility and opinions of staff, and searching the operational data of the geotechnical company before and reform, comparative analysis of changes in economic indicators were conducted. In obtaining first-hand information above, the methods of collating and analyzing were used. Besides, the theory of modern enterprise system and incentive theory were used to study the reform of state-owned geotechnical company A.Contents are as follows: studying the present status of the company A, and finding existing problems; studying the contents of the modern enterprise system and what conditions a modern enterprise system should have, determining the suitability of modern enterprise system in the reform of geotechnical of the company; Researching the company's reform program and the geotechnical effects, evaluating the feasibility of the reform program and existing problems both in theory and practice ,and putting forward the proposals about the problems that should be studied further.This study hopes to find a reform approach which is suitable to state-owned geotechnical companies holding the status of "business structure, corporate governance ", and to the greatest degree to improve business performance, so providing references for the reform and development of geotechnical companies.Through this research, the following view was presented: because of geotechnical companies belonging to institutions of state-owned enterprises and industries, the reform is different from state-owned enterprises in general, but the theory of modern enterprise system is also suitable to the reform of geological exploration industry.This article also presented that the reform of the state-owned geotechnical company should focus on improving staff's sense of responsibility and initiative, establishing effective incentive and restraint mechanisms, and carrying them out timely and objectively.
