With the great success of the application of Six Sigma in Motorola and GE,Six Sigma has been accepted as the one of the successful method to improve the competence of enterprises.At Presents,all over the world,a great number of enterprises apply Six Sigma,which has leaded to the success,and in China,Six Sigma was not recognized and accepted until 1990s.Now,a lot of Chinese enterprises has applied or are going to apply Six Sigma in order to improve the product and management quality to increase their competence.There are two main issues for the manufacturing enterprise,which are quality and quantity.We normally applied "six sigma" to improve the quality of products and handle problems of manufacture.However,we less focus on improve productivity. After combination of "six sigma" and balance of produce line,we are not only improve the stability quality,but also we can gain more financial rewards."Six sigma" will be best tool for improving product,quality and benefits.In this paper,we will focus on the issues of "six sigma" that have been met in actual produce,and combined with the actual situation of a company,and then using "six sigma" manage method to balance and optimized manual assembly packaging product line.First of all,through the analysis of production systems and customer requirements to build the objectives of "six sigma" Y for improving the per capita hourly output of PD4 assemebly line by 15%,Then according to the balance of the rate of production lines and on-the-spot analysis of logistics situation,determine key problems of per capita hourly output that is unreasonable working position,ineffectively control the output of key working position,non-standard control product line speed and depositing materials.Thirdly,on the base of data of product line and improving the flow of data detection,according to the method that combine with the perao,histogram and SOD analysis and traditional methods,and improving key factor Xs,we have improved per capita hourly output more than 20%.Finally,the analysis proves the financial reward,and to develop the corresponding monitor process and methods that can assure the results in the long run.
