Company F will cooperate with S company for OEM manufacturing mobile phone. Due to the company S outsourcing mobile phone manufacturing section con-tains artificially assembly business, through benchmark for S company product lines, F company sets up his own product lines according to the layout of S company line. After piloting company F discovered that this line layout is not suitable for him, in this line including mass artificially job, the emergence of line balance rate is low, personnel motion waste is more, the person of one unit is more and line mobility is poorer etc…lead to cost increase. And this directly results to lower earnings and market competitiveness. Therefore, it is necessary to improve lines and promote the line capacity. Through the method study for capacity ramp-up, we can continuously reduce motion waste, personnel working intensity, the waste of resources, and pro-mote staff s efficiency, it makes the company more humanization, meanwhile in-crease customer satisfaction, company satisfaction, employee satisfaction.The purpose of this research method is to improve the production lines through motion analysis and the predetermined time system theory, to disassemble the action of everyone to unit motion by motion analysis, and find and eliminate invalid motion and waste motion. Then to evaluate the cycle time of every unit motion by predeter-mined time system and rearranged the line layout according to the evaluated cycle time. It can reduce waste, promote line balance rate, increase line capacity and im-prove production efficiency.Improved balance rate for lines reaches 87% (promoted 18%), and improved UPPH reaches 30 (promoted 36%). This makes the company manufacturing cost de-creased and profit increased obviously, and achieves the desired goal. At the same time, the standardization of each component is very important for the rapid introduc- tion of other projects. Therefore, company F is very positive to this article and encou-rages our team to go to further research along this way for creating greater profit.
