The year 2011 is the beginning of the 12th 5-year-program and also will be a year during which new policies be frequently pushed out as forcasted. To the corperations with foreign capital, the governmental policies are both opportunities and challenges.Since 1990s, local home appliance companies have grown up very fast. The foreign brands which formerly took the lead chronically have felt the high pressure. They have known that they have been in the inferior position in the competition of Chinese market. The local brands will surely compete with foreign brands in the global market in the near future. Formerly, their advantages mainly came from technology and management. But today, the advantages are almost lost. In the meager profit period, everyone should grab profit from management. Supply chain management is the core content of all managing business and a source of profit. Supply chain management could decide whether the company could be a survival in the competition. This article firstly introduces the selection background and the current status of company L and the industry of air-conditioning. And then analyzes the current issues according to the characteristics of supply chain management in the industry of home appliance and summarize out 2 problems that should be solved immediately: production progress controlling of suppliers and the budget controlling of selling logistics expenses. To the above 2 problems, I have studied the theory of procurement management, vendor management and transportation management and propose the solutions with net planning method and linear program method.
