With the foundation of Industry and Information Technology Ministry and the start of 3G network construction in China, the Chinese telecommunication industry reformation has step into a new era. In the next several years, the telecommunication companies will facing the challenges and opportunities like: fierce competition, 3G network construction, informatization of traditional industries. The major purpose of this thesis is to study how to establish the strategy under the new environment of fierce competition, and keep stable and continuous development for Wuhan Hongxin Telecommunication Technologies, Co., (Wuhan Hongxin)This thesis makes the analysis towards the company according to the following strategy analysis models: environment analysis, strategy establishment and strategy evaluation.Firstly, this thesis uses the PEST Model (politics, economy, science and technology) and Porter's Five Forces Model to analyze the general environment of telecommunication industry; it founds the potential opportunities and threats for Wuhan Hongxin. For the internal environment analysis, it adopts the Value Chain Theory to summarize the potential opportunities and threats as well. By using the SWOT Matrix, this thesis establishes the competition strategy, and provides the relevant comments, At last, it deploys the Growth-Share Matrix to analyze the combination strategy.After the analyses, this thesis summarized the company's major competition strategy is to focus on the cost leadership with the assistance of innovation, meanwhile, the company level strategy and functional strategy need to be established according to the competition strategy. With the establishment of the strategy, it will help the company to keep advantages in the fierce competition, but during the implementation of the above strategy and in order to keep the competitiveness, there are lots of improvement about the company need to be made, such as innovation and organization.
