Research On The Financial Performance Of The Foreign Trade And Listed Companies Of The Chemical Industry Based On Factor Analysis

The chemical industry is an important Basic Industries in China, it supply raw materials to many industries, such as the car industry, the clothing industry, the electronic industry, the real estate industry etc. The development of the chemical industry can affect the development of other industries directly. The foreign trading and listed companies of the chemical industry are the representative and leading enterprises in the industry. The development of these companies can mirror the overall condition of the industry. According to analysis the financial performance of these companies, we want to find the finances issues and help them understand their positions the gap in the industry. We will help them solve problems promptly and improve the financial performance. Financial crises broke out on a global scale in 2008, most entity enterprises in our country were adversely affected, the chemical enterprises have also been affected inevitably, the study on the financial performance of the chemical enterprises under the background will help us understand their ability of resistiong risk, and the study have the more important theoretical and practical significance.The author analyzed the financial performance of the foreign trading and listed companies of the chemical industry from theoretical analysis and empirical study. The paper illustrated the research results and recently development about the financial performance at home and abroad, and introduced the theoretical basis, and reviewed the general development of the chemical industry and the foreign trading and listed companies in China, and selected 59 companies as samples which listed in both Shanghai and Shenzhen Security Exchange Market. Based on the financial performance evaluation index system and combined the characteristics of these companies. The paper selected 19 financial index to set up the financial performance index system, and collected the financial data in the third quarter of 2010,and set up the analysis model, and get the factor score and the place of per company though the factor analysis, and studied the financial performance. Finally, the paper gave some suggestions to help these companies improve the financial performance.
