Income distribution has always been the hot issues and tough questions in the economic society, which is related to the vital interests of every social member. Especially at present when the gap of income distribution is generally enlarging in our country, it appears very important to solve this problem. Because currently our market economic reform has already entered the key stage. Various social contradictions mainly based on the interests are intricate. If the problem of income distribution is not properly solved, the social contradictions will be intensified. Thus it will threaten the sustained development of economy and the long-term stability of the society. For this reason, many scholars have carried on deep and painstaking researches into the current gap of income distribution from different angles and aspects.In this paper, this sort of research results at home and abroad, based on the use of Western economic theory, labor market segmentation from the perspective of China's widening income gap in depth analysis of the reasons. The results show that: As the institutional reasons caused by China's labor market segmentation on China's income gap has important implications, and makes our country to further expand the income distribution gap. So to solve the widening gap of income distribution problems, caused by the settlement system of the labor market segmentation is crucial.This paper consists of seven parts. The first discusses the topics of significance, research status and research characteristics and so on. The second part is the theoretical basis. The third part is divided into domestic and international research status. The fourth section details the income distribution of China's problems, the growing income gap between rural and urban areas, rural-urban income gap continues to expand, growing income disparities between regions, the growing income gap between the industry and analyzes the causes of these problems .The fifth part of the labor market segmentation from the perspective of China's widening income gap is analyzed, including two sections, the first section describes our current status of labor market segmentation; second section is on China's labor market segmentation and income inequality expanding the relationship in-depth study. The sixth part is divided into empirical test of China's labor market segmentation and the growing income gap between the relationship between the empirical test. The last part is from the perspective of the labor market to address the widening income gap in China made a corresponding policy recommendations...
