Since late 1980s, Strategic Human Resource Management (SHRM) has become a concept that is already well known by enterprises. Enterprises have to combine their strategies and HR management when they want to attain competitive advantage in today's changeable surroundings. SHRM is a series of behaviors of HR management that aims to achieve enterprise strategic objectives.This thesis is a research of HR management practice from S Group Ltd , The author investigates environment of S Group Ltd which is a top 500 enterprise all of the world from four modules: corporate culture and staff relationship, recruitment, employee's training and development, performance appraisal and compensation system, etc. The author obtains lots of inspirations on how to manage a Chinese enterprise in SHRM area.This thesis is divided into six parts: Chapter 1 introduces the background and significance of this research, and introduces ways of analysis, and main contents. Chapter 2 introduces SHRM research situation and significance in the domestic and foreign. Chapter 3 introduces basic theories of SHRM including SHRM definition. Chapter 4 is the focal point of this thesis. This chapter takes S Group Ltd as an example. It claims S Group how to operate, gain which various experiences from implementing SHRM. Chapter 5, this thesis presents the S group SHRM system design and implementation suggestions: 1. to adjust the organization adapting the company strategy requirement from the organization development angle. 2. to build S group recruitment and evaluation system 3.to build S group performance appraisal. 4. to build S group comprehensive compensation scheme. 5. build S group staff training and development system, improve the S group human resources strategy implementation and control effect. Finally, Chapter 6, the author does an analysis to evaluate and forecast for SHRM in S group.
