Research On The Application Of Lean Production In Company M In SIP

As one of modern manufacturing management method , lean production estimated in 1950's by Toyota Japan. After decades years of developing and optimizing , it has be validated as a successful management system , it has impressed a lot of industry and scholar all of the world .In recent years, lean production got very high attention in worldwide. Many universities, research institutions and large enterprises have been widely studied or application; particularly in assembly line-based industry such as auto and electronics industry has developed it very deeply. However, for various reasons, in many traditional industries, such as the printing industry, the promotion of lean production with the application is still in its infancy stage.A printing company illustrated in this paper in Suzhou Industrial Park is a typical traditional American owned business. In this paper, we researched problems of operating in this company and analyzed root cause of these problems according to lean production theory, described the whole process implementing lean production. Finally, summarized a number of experiences and lessons learned from this program. This article is also concerned to push forward the process of human research, analyzed incentive procedure related with lean production implementing. This paper tries to promote the company's lean production implementing as a sample, demonstrate to the traditional printing industry to promote their lean production methods and rule.
