The Research On The People-oriented And Enhancing The Soft Power In Dalian

Soft power is put forward by Professor Joseph Nye of Harvard University in the 1980's last century. Many statesman and scholar attached importance to it since that time. The soft power has become a very important problem which must be focused on in regional development and urbanization process in China. Dalian is rich in soft power resources, how to transform the invisible resources into the visible superiority, is a major theoretical and practical issue.This paper presents many respects about soft power theory systematically, includes the background, main points of Joseph's soft power theory and domestic's interpretation on soft power, as well as analyzes the people-oriented in depth. This paper also introduces some main idea about city soft power study, defines its concept which is based on previous research.This paper analyzes the soft power in Dalian from the perspective, and points out the development inadequate and reasons, as well as elaborates great significance in enhancing soft power in Dalian. It gives us effective means from the examples of inside and outside cities. The author believes that soft power upgrade Dalian need for a comprehensive means and measures. In previous papers based on the analysis of the basic countermeasures from three aspects:the first is to build on the achievements we have made in environment protection, to advance harmonious between man and nature; the second is to improve the public service system, to improve the atmosphere in harmony; the third is to increase connotation of city culture, to create a harmonious culture atmosphere. Under the background of new society stage, the research has a strong theoretical and practical reference, and also has some meaning and reference for the competitiveness of city, at the same time accelerates the development of people-oriented and city soft power both in theory and practice.Among the innovation lies in combining with people-oriented values in the course of exposition an bring up strategies in enhancing the soft power in Dalian.
