Now that we can not issue an indefinitely large number new notes in practice, the task that improve cleanness of RMB in circulation can only be rely on banknote disposal work.At present, the People's Bank of China and commercial banks do banknote disposal work separately, lack of unification operational model. Even though more than sixty banknote disposal centers are sectors of the same People's Bank of China ,there are various operational models among them.For the objective factors, the People's Bank of China should play the leading role of banknote disposal work currently. People's Bank of China should focus on the overall situation, set up banknote disposal center reasonably, equip banknote disposal equipment according to the volume of task plan, and establish world-class level of modern banknote disposal center that possess advanced process flow, strict management and canonical operation , so that we can do a great job on banknote disposal work, maintaining the RMB's stature, perform our functions, serve the community and benefit the people.
