With the advent of the 21 st century, humankind has entered the era of global competition and the information age. Some new forms of enterprise organization, such as Strategic Alliance, Virtual Enterprise, Modular Organization and Networks, are gradually on the rise. These forms will be widely used by the enterprises in the new era. The rise of these forms of organization not only promoted the forms of organizations to gradually evolve from functional to process-based, but also developed the system structure and operation rules of the enterprise organization capacity. Facing to today's dynamic and complicated environment, whether the enterprises can succeed in the resources reconstruction and whether the business processes can run effectively to gain a competitive advantage depends largely on the ability of enterprise to coordinate and manage the organization process called organizational capacity. Organizational capacity usually presents the speed of the enterprise to implement the strategy and the novelty of the strategy. Organizational capacity exerting effectively can make a enterprise which is in lack of adequate resources establish a competitive advantage and can even make a enterprise build a new valuable, scarce, non-imitative and irreplaceable resource base by acquiring and integrating new resources, in order to achieve the sustain of competitive advantage. Therefore, the organizational capacity has become the main basis of a enterprise to establish a long-term competitive advantage. Kunming Yun'nei Power CO. LTD possesses a leading position in China's diesel engine manufacturing industry, so using the evolutionary mechanism of this enterprise's organizational capacity for the study has universal significance.This article has built a stimulus-response basic model and a three echo-model of the enterprise's organizational capacity based on the modern enterprise management and system scientific theory, especially on the basic idea of complex adaptive systems theory and the basic principles of echo model. Through carrying out a number of questionnaire survey and interviews to the employees of Kunming Yun'nei Power CO.,LTD and understanding the company's active response when it faces to the complex global market environment, this paper arrives at a number of factors that affect the formation of the enterprise's organization capacity. Because the echo model of CAS system is different from the past statistic data linear regression analysis, the main contents of this article are to do the model analysis of the Kunming Yun'nei Power CO.,LTD.This paper is divided into six chapters:The first chapter is on the basis of describing the research background and making elaborate of the research content to put forward the study ideas and methods of this paper.The second chapter has interpreted and reviewed the main related theories of the complex adaptive systems and the enterprise organizational capacity theory, in order to provide a basis for the later chapters.The third section has combined the two large theories of the former chapter to form the enterprise organizational capacity CAS system and to analyze it.According to the theory of chapter 3, chapter 4 applies the theories to the specific stimulus-response and echo model.The chapter 5 has analyzed the complex adaptive of Kunming Yun'nei Power CO..LTD. Based on it, it establishes the system model of this company's organization capacity.The chapter 6 has made a brief summary of the full text and pointed out the innovations of this paper, while prospecting the follow-up studies.
