A Study On Mode Of Seafarers Industry Development In Economic Zone On The Western Coast Of The Taiwan Straits

With the background of the State Council promulgating Several Views on Supporting Fujian Province to speed up construction of economic zone of western Taiwan Strait and the first national seafarer development conference putting forward the target of "Construction Strong Seafarer Country ", this paper puts forward the concept, connotation and extension of seafarer industry in accordance with the current situation and demand analysis of international, domestic and Western Taiwan Strait seafarer labor market, as well as in light of seafarers resources status and development trend of Fujian province. What's more, taking use of the theory and method of industry economics, it analyzes the strategic positioning of seafarer industry development in economic zone of Western Taiwan Strait, as well as its operation mode and relative measures required.Firstly, this article collects basic research data of international, domestic and Taiwan Strait seafarer industry development, and through interviewing and discussing with government, shipping enterprises, colleges, and seafarers deployment (service) institutions, fully analyzes resources distribution trend and demand prediction in the areas said above, expounds the roles of related parties in promoting seafarer development, so as to provides foundation support for researching on seafarer industry development and improving the industry bigger and stronger.Secondly, basing on the developing status and demand of seafarer industry in Western Taiwan Strait, and taking reference of the problems, advantages and features of the international, domestic and Taiwan Strait seafarer industry, this paper elaborates the background, positioning and target of seafarer industry development in Fujian province, as well as its operation mode and specific measures in connection with the concept of seafarers industry and the thought of economic zone of Western Taiwan Strait acting and trying initiatively, highlighting region advantage and radiation around, which will provide decision-making basis for promotion of seafarer industry development in Fujian province even economic zone of Western Taiwan Strait.Research of this article will absolutely present certain reference value for easing the dilemma that the supply of seafarers could not meet the demand at home and abroad market, breaking bottlenecks of Chinese seafarer development, solving seafarer development problems and building a sustainable development model.
