Study On Establishment Of Environmentally Friendly Industrial System Of Pig Production

Since reform and opening-up policy of China was carried out, the amount of major livestock and poultry has a rapid growth and livestock and poultry production industry has a great development, but at the same time the development also causes some pollution, which is more and more seriously. So we should try our best to stop production industry polluting our environment. It is necessary to build an environmental-friendly livestock and poultry production industrial system. This article will analyze the environmental management situation of piggery in Jiangsu Province and then will mainly build environmentally friendly pig production industrial system based on HACCP theory.Firstly, based on HACCP principles, this article analyze the reasons of pig production pollution, identify some problems on the location and planning of piggery, inputs management, waste treatment. Then the investigation of pig farms in Jiangsu Province shows:the location and planning of some pig farms is unreasonable. Some pig farms don't use veterinary in a right way, and there may be veterinary drug abuse, excessive use phenomenon. Among the pig farms, which use groundwater as dringking water for pigs, 61.29 percent of pig farms don't test water quality.30.68 percent of pig farms use nutritional control measures, and the proportion is low. Most people don't understand it well, what is more, some people even haven't heard of it, not to mention to use them. It seems that most people don't pay attention to reduce pollution from the beginning. About dealing with waste,79.55 percent of pig farms choose dry conservancy method, which plays an important role on reducing pig waste pollution. But,20.45 percent of pig farms don't choose dry conservancy method.3.4 percent of pig farms discharge the pig manure into the surrounding environment directly, and 15.9 percent of pig farms discharge sewage into the surrounding environment directly.37.5 percent of pig farms use biogas technology, which is the main technology of dealing with the pollution. Next this article makes a further analysis about choosing biogas technology, analyzing factors for choosing biogas technology in Probit model. Among the factors, the breeding scale, the level of awareness on pollution, the level of understanding biogas technology, government subsidies play an important positive influence in choosing biogas technology. And analyze the causes of the pig production pollution:the isolation of crop farming and livestock breeding, the weakness of environmental supervision and management on pig production pollution, lack of the relevant interests bonding mechanisms, low barriers to entry for pig farmers.Based on HACCP principle, this article analyze the hazards in pig breeding process, which may cause environmental pollution, determining three key controlling points to control environmental pollution:the location and planning of pig farms, inputs management, waste treatment. Then the corresponding control measures are proposed, building environmentally friendly pig production industrial system. Environmentally friendly pig production industrial system includes four parts:training system, inputs management system, disease control and prevention system, pollutant control system.At last, in order to promote environmentally friendly pig production industrial system, this article proposes some suggestion based on the analysis.
