Research On The Assessment Of Industry Security Of Chinese Retail Business

The retail industry is an important producer service industry, and connection with various industries closely. Foreign capital often control other industries by controlling retail link, retail industry safety related not only to its development, but also related to a country's economic security, hence reserch on its security has important significance. Chinese retail industry opened to outside early, at present large amount of foreign capital came into Chinese market, and there are many potential safety problems.As helpful for enterprise and government to make rapid and effective response.,assessment of industrial safety for maintaining the retail industry security is important,.This paper aims to assess security situation of retail industry, firstly analyzes the retail industry characteristics and safety factors, and then constract the comprehensive evaluation system from the macro and micro within two perspectives, internal and external aspects of our country's retail industry with principal component analysis and data selection index synthetic evaluation, at last get industrial safety index of our retail insustry from 2001 to 2009.Results showed that after Chinese entry into WTO in 2001, Chinese retail industry safety conditions worsen, after 2006 greatly it has greatly improved, but in 2009 financial crisis makes retail unsafe levels increase again. While individual indexes status display:since 2001, although our country's dependence on foreign capital dropped, but the foreign retail corporations in China's market share is more and more big, the equity ratio is also very high; While China's retail enterprise capital leverage and capital profit margins have greatly improved, but labor quality is still low, average wage so far below the national. Finally this paper puts forward relevant proposals,combining experiences of foreign industrial protection.This paper argues that, protection of industry safety is not to hinder competition, but to support it in childish stage.Compared with the foreign retail corporations, chinese retail enterprises is worse almost in every aspect, the government needs to protect and support the retail enterprises in our country.But,we also has a local advantages and network foundation superiority, and so far the retail enterprises in our country market share is still lager.As long as cooperating with the government and industry association,the safety conditions of chinese retail industry will get much improved soon.
