As the emission reduction commitment has been made by Chinese government in the Thirteenth Five-Year Plan as well as Paris Climate Conference, another development opportunity is coming for the new energy industry. In recent decades, the new energy industry have been developed so rapidly that they have gradually replaced those traditional resources in human society and are becoming even increasingly essential in social production and life for the improvement of science technology and recognition of environment issues. Whether the new energy will achieve an ascendant position has become an evaluation criteria. New Energy Industry has been developed at a high speed in China, and it has attained top position in market scale and generating capacity. Despite the fact that the development of the new resources is shaping up as a whole, there still existing critical problems such as structure imbalance, over capacity, Lack of international competitiveness, etc. Hence finding out current development situation of the local industry and influencing factors on new resources in China will provide directions for Chinese new resources development. This paper tried to use some statistical methods to describe and analyze the current situation of New Energy Industry of China in order to set clear development goals put forward some practical suggestions. The paper’s thought is show like this:first, make a simple introduction to new energy; then find some variables to analysis the development of the industry, including Cross-Section Analysis and Vertical Analysis for a overall result. As for the method, this paper uses the Principal Component Analysis to evaluate the new energy industry development of China; the other is the State Space Model to study the influence factor of the development of the industry. The result shows that the development of China’s new energy industry is imbalance and the competitive power is not enough; and the State Space Model shows that our energy industry is in the industry restructuring that the improvement of technology would promote it.
