Study On Technological Catch-up Path Of Chinese Enterprises Under The Condition Of Globalization

Globalization makes the developing countries gradually lost their resources endowment and advantage of backwardness, so developing countries'economic catch-up increasingly depends on technological catch-up. As the subject of technology innovation and technology application, firm level technological catch-up plays a decisive role in the overall national development strategy. Therefore, based on reviewing the previous studies of technological catch-up theory from concept, form, element, evolutive track, the dissertation involves the following contents:Firstly, the dissertation analyses the effect of globalization to Chinese technological catch-up. Based on the reviewing of globalization from concept and form, this paper studies the opportunities that economic globalization bring to the developing countries. And from the five aspects:protection of intellectual property rights, technology transfer, globalization of markets and human resource, progress of science and technology, comparative advantages and resources endowment, we mainly studies the challenges that economic globalization bring to Chinese enterprises technological catch-up.Secondly, the study concludes three drive models of technological catch-up in developing countries:policy drive, market drive, technology drive, and analyses the industrial characteristics, subject, turning point, key elements of the three models. Then the dissertation chooses the large aircraft project of China, TFT-LCD technology, speech recognition technology to analysis.Thirdly, this study analyses the path characters, stage of development and evolutive mechanism of technological catch-up path models, including following on the same trajectory, diversifying on the same trajectory, growing up on the different trajectory, and creating on the later trajectory. Then the dissertation chooses BYD Auto, differentiation strategy of Haier Group, the development of Japanese PHS technology in China, and projection technology of CHANGHONG to analysis.
