Since Schumpete proposed the "innovation" concept in 1912, innovation theory got a major development in the world. Innovation in an a important way to acquire and maintain a competitive advantage for a business, a region and a country .The introduction of innovative theory of China has started from the seventies of last century, it took seriously by academia, industry and politics. In the new era,Council innovation proposition Party central committee and State Department proposed independent innovation and enhanced the independent innovation capability as one of the national strategy. With the development of knowledge economy. Product update cycle is becoming more and more shorter, Speed of product innovation is becoming more and more faster. Capacity for innovation in industrial enterprises is a key factor in competitive world. Building capacity for independent innovation is an important business strategy for the current task.The third chapter discusses in detail drive mechanism and path selection based on innovation to promote optimization and upgrading of industrial structure: Firstly, Using the establishment of an integrated innovation model to reveal drive mechanism and path selection. The model was constructed more systematically rely on innovation to achieve the regional industrial structure optimization and upgrading of the theoretical framework, providing a comprehensive theoretical generalization for this paper. With the oretical framework, the formation mechanism of the independent innovation, conduction mechanism and the path selection will be clear of its one by one in order to solve the problem of industrial structure in Jilin Province.Chapter IV first confirmed the prospect of industrial development in Jilin Province and made clear the central position of industry in the province. Then using Jilin Statistical Year book Jilin Science and Technology Statistics Yearbook and China Statistical Yearbook to analysis of Industrial Structure in Jilin Province and the status of independent innovation. According to the analysis, we can identify the problems to promote upgrading the industrial structure in Jilin Province.Regard Jilin industrial structure and the status of independent innovation as the factual basis, concrete analysis of concrete. With the guidance of the theories of Drive mechanism and path selection based on innovation to promote optimization and upgrading of industrial structure, I proposed three new optimal upgrade path, and made clearly to the structure mechanism and the transmission mechanism of the three path from the general to the specific. And I have made a specific interpretation for the transmission mechanism and the formation mechanism of each path.Path looks different from the third chapter, but its essence is the same. The goal is to transform traditional industries and develop high-tech industries. we Identify suitable path for optimization and upgrading of industrial structure for industrial development in Jilin Province in the future.So far, most of the domestic research focused on the stresses independent innovation of enterprises in the external constraints, Although there are many successful cases of innovation in the media and business meetings on a lot of publicity, depth is not enough. Also Internal mechanism and successful innovation model is not clear. The innovation paper is the fifth chapter, combination of philosophy, physics, economics and other disciplines of knowledge, Firstly proposed the three paths based on independent innovation to promote optimization and upgrading of industrial structure: firstly, the wheel-rail type promotion path; UFO-style promotion path; Pondero motive force type promotion path.Based on the industrial structure and the current situation in Jilin Province, we can provide a new idea by an independent innovation perspective analysis of the use of these three paths to the industry in Jilin Province.All in all, Industrial structure is a large and complex system, so optimization and upgrading of industrial structure is a complex system problem, not overnight success. From a philosophical point of view, contradictions are dominant in the development process and play a decisive role the development of things. Therefore, according to the actual situation in Jilin Province, we determine dominant industries in Jilin province to seize the principal contradiction in order to realize optimization and upgrading of industrial structure by the three path. Only in this way, can we use resources effectively and also promote optimization and upgrading of industrial structure.Summing up, we use the reality of the industrial Structure and Innovation in Jilin Province as factual evidence and regard drive mechanism and path selection based on innovation as the l arguments. Fully into account the special problems of industrial structure coming from particular stage of development and institutional reasons, we should combine the facts and theoretical arguments, then we can propose three new optimal upgrade path for the optimization and upgrading of industrial structure, in Jilin Province. It can explore principles and methods which coordinate the various contradictions and conflicts in the process of the optimization and upgrading of industrial structure and meet the developmental characteristics of Jilin Province. It can concentrate on the core technology to achieve breakthroughs in key enterprises in this region, promote advanced experiences and technologies, accelerate the pace of industrialization in the old industrial bases, form and improve the sustainable competitiveness of enterprises, promote optimization and upgrading of regional industrial structure, have leap-forward development of regional economy and so on. So it has a great theoretical and practical significance.
