Study On The Development And Competition In The Port Logistic Industry Cluster Of Liaoning Province

As a combining site between logistics activities and transportation, the port has been responsible for the transformation of the mode of transportation, also it attracted a lot of logistics enterprise gathered for its unique advantages and convenient transportation infrastructure conditions, So the port gradually formed a port logistics industry cluster, we can say that the port logistics industry cluster is the formation of the regional economy and the inevitable trend of the port's development. Based on this, this paper makes the research on the port logistics industry cluster's development of Liaoning ports.This study mainly includes the following aspects:first, it sums up the present situation and research trends about the port logistics industry cluster, simplify introduces some early theories; second, analysis the development of the main port logistics industrial cluster in Liaoning province; then it has established a more scientific port logistics industry cluster competitiveness index system. It also introduces the index evaluation process using the TOPSIS method. this article goes on a deep study from demonstration analysis about the port logistics industry cluster competitiveness in Bohai ring, the result reveals the factors that can influence the port logistics industry cluster competitiveness status, analyzes the main competitiveness status between the ten port logistics industry cluster in Bohai ring; finally, from the above analysis, this paper gives some suggestions on the development of port logistics industry cluster in Liaoning Provence.The study's innovation mainly embodies in two aspects:on the one hand, it adds the vertical comparison in the same port cluster and the horizontal comparison between different ones, during the analysis their developments. This is more comparability; on the other hand, by introducing the entropy theory in evaluation index system analysis of the port logistics industry cluster's competitiveness, so that can make the finally policy suggestions more scientific.This research can help the government departments and the relevant port departments develop their right strategy, good at strengthening the government's macro-control on port logistics industry cluster and improving the port logistics industry cluster's overall competitiveness in Liaoning province.
