Nowadays, post-80s generation has become the backbone of the young group inside enterprises. Their distinctive personalities and increasing desire to be talented has brought great challenges for Zhengzhou Railway Bureau which has been adopted traditional personnel management and training process for young employees. The change of the railway development mode, the acceleration of high-speed railway construction, and the expansion of transportation and production scale has caused significant staff mobility and increased demand for young talents. Thus, with the incessant internal and external changes in development environment, the career management for young employees in Zhengzhou Railway Bureau is ushering a brand-new spring.Based on the theoretical and practical experiences of career management in Zhengzhou Railway Bureau, this paper adopted different methods, such as surveys, questionnaires and interviews to present the research in seven areas. Combined with the characteristics of young group and personnel requirement change under new development mode, this paper analyzed problems and the reasons in the career management for young employees in order to establish a unique and young group oriented career management system under modern enterprise mechanism. Through implementation of the basic concepts, establishment of main objectives and adoptions of suitable methodology, the paper proposed a variety of career paths for different young employees based on six career development factors, including vocational aims, educational training, on-job training, job deployment, promotion and counseling. All these initiatives are designed to provide a good match between personal development and job scope, to align personal vocational aim with enterprise development objectives, to strengthen young employees'job satisfaction, to reduce staff mobility, to gradually form a scientific and orderly turnover mechanism, and finally to achieve a win-win situation, a continuous improvement for both young employees and Zhengzhou Railway Bureau.On the way to a modern enterprise management system, Zhengzhou Railway Bureau will improve progressively its career management mechanism through providing young people with career planning and development programs. Along with today's high-speed railway era, Zhengzhou Bureau will lead the young people to take the "bullet train" and drive them into the "high-speed career rail".
