Career is a long process, which is designed and formed in youth. Theoretically speaking, career is self-decided by people in their youth, but in a practical sense, young people are characterized by active mind, more perceptual rather than rational, especially because of shallow life experience, they often cannot evaluate their own conditions and career requirement correctly, and tend to get lost or “take detours” easily in their career planning and design. For the youth, a successful career design should be built based on correct evaluation and comprehension of their own conditions; in addition, with the help from organization of Youth League, their career targets need to be adjusted and amended keeping pace with the times according to actual work requirement, and their love and dedication to work should be cultivated so as to realize career value and fulfill their career aspirations.This paper introduces this topic from the aspect of basic concept and theory of career management, comprehends and reviews these concept and theory, conducts research and exploration on the current career management situations both at home and abroad. Through questionnaire survey about relevant factors for the career of the young employees in HY Company, conduct SWOT analysis on the current situations of employee career management and find out several problems in the career management for young employees in HY Company at present. Based on the human resource strategy development of HY Company, this paper, reestablishes the concept for career management of young employees, conceives a planning scheme of employee career management, and provide some effective statistical support and reliable plan judgment for the growth and career development of employee in the company.The characteristic and innovation of this paper are the analysis of current career situations of young employees in HY Company. Combined with actual situations of company and classified by production, technology and management, design career planning in different periods. And the career management of employee is further evolved to the strategic height of company development, especially the close combination of human resource development strategy. In this sense, HR designs three-directional career development channels for young employees: lateral career development channel, vertical career development channel and special career development channel. Some conclusions in this paper can provide reference about future enterprise development strategy for its manager or decision maker of HY Company, and give statistical support for the human resource management and strategy implementation of the company; moreover, it can also be taken as reference for other similar enterprises.
