Study On Social Impact Of Rural Tourism

In a world moving toward urbanization and modernization of society, returning to nature has become a powerful tide of life, so tourism as a comprehensive social activity can't be the exception, while rural tourism will be popular home and abroad because it conforms to this trend. The spontaneous development of rural tourism from the beginning to the present government led, planned, large-scale development made huge changes in economic, environmental and social in these areas. Because of the investment in rural tourism is not that huge, making the most of the conduct of tourism activities can effect at the beginning, so it is possible for parts of rural poverty to be richer then before through tourism, for those areas to achieve their quality of life. But the impacts in the economic, environmental and social are not always beneficial that makes the society deviate away the original more or less, so we can foresee what will be happen only when we analysis the possible impacts carefully in the early stage of development in the tourism. We should keep sober about this. The development of rural tourism can not be good but no harm, and it can not solve all the problems about local economic and social development, of course, not all areas are suitable for the development of tourism, and we should have a clear understanding,Rural tourism in general will result in economic, social, cultural and environmental impact. Because of the limit of the thesis, this article focuses on the social impact. After we study the impacts of tourism sufficiently, then guide the development of rural tourism, making tourism carry out along the good path at the beginning of the development, to get the efficiency maximized.Shanxi rural tourism gradually developed accompanied by the share of this tide. Due to historical and geographical factors of Shanxi, and the traffic problems and other reasons to retain many of the original village, those became an important part of rural tourism in Shanxi. There are not only rich cultural heritage in rural of Shanxi Province, but also kinds of sites and types like ancient villages, ancient houses, ancient buildings, natural beauty, revolutionary sites; Customs in rural areas is nearly unique, and rich in content, so these ancient village into a new type of tourism resources. Compared to the ordinary village, the general rural ancient villages contain the following characteristics:relatively weak economic base, more primitive way of life, the slow pace, away from the effects of urbanization, the impact of a deep traditional culture. Therefore, development of rural tourism in ancient village on the local villagers can amplified the effect of social influence. In this paper, we take YuCi HouGou for example, through field interviews and questionnaire to analysis the local social impact after the development of rural tourism. Finally, we put forward the feasibility proposals lie on the investigation about positive and negative impact studies, looking forward to supporting the HouGou and other areas of rural tourism development.
