Accelerate Mutual Direct Investment Facilitation Path Research

In recent years, mutual direct investment between China and Russia develops faster. But compared to GDP of both countries and the volume of trade between the two countries, mutual direct investment between the two countries is still in its infancy, and mutual direct investment between the two countries is far from the state of facilitation. If mutual direct investment between China and Russia is in the state of facilitation, it can greatly reduce the barriers to mutual direct investment between the two countries, promote trade liberalization between the two countries, and contribute to inclusive growth of the two countries finally. Based on the favorable conditions and the major constraints of mutual direct investment between China and Russia, the paper defines principles firstly that designing paths of accelerating mutual direct investment facilitation between the two countries should comply with. Then the paper designs paths of accelerating mutual direct investment facilitation between the two countries from theoretical aspect and realistic aspect. Theoretical paths include"Establishing Sino-Russian free trade area"and"Establishing investment area in Northeast Asia", and realistic paths include"Governments lead and policies advance","First make experiments in chosen industries and then extend its application step by step"and"First make experiments in chosen areas and then extend its application step by step". The paper not only analyses feasibility of the oretical paths of accelerating mutual direct investment facilitation between China and Russia, but also studies a series of problems that theoretical path and realistic path confront in practice. On the basis of the study mentioned above, the paper presents some suggestions about paths of accelerating mutual direct investment facilitation between China and Russia.
