Analysis And Recommendations On Protection Of Geographical Indications In Shaanxi Province

This study analysised development status of geographical indication protection under featured economic conditions in Shaanxi Province, based on the study of domestic and foreign geographical indication products. Moreover, In order to promote economic growth more effectively,quickly and reasonably in Shaanxi Province, constructive comments were proposed according to shortcomings in the development of geographical indication protection. Major work includes three aspects:(1) The topic fully discussed the related concepts and development origin of geographical indication products, and the importance and characteristics of geographical indication products development and the relationship with related concepts.(2) Combining development and application situation of domestic and foreign geographical indication products, it expounded the importance of geographical indication products development and support of the laws and regulations of the geography symbol products in each state and local governments. Furthermore, it also analysed the problems existed in Shaanxi geographic indication products protection.(3) Under the condition of the specific geographic indication products development status and existing problems in Shaanxi province, it put forward relevant strategies and constructive opinions. This would lay a solid foundation for Shaanxi characteristic products protection work.
