A Research Of Chinese Telecommunications Finance Risk Management Based On Z-Score Model

Since the restructuring of the telecommunications industry in 2008,due to the formation of the impact of industrial integration and 3G business market competition,communications companies have entered the golden age of operations. Thinking from the perspective of corporate finance,how to control and manage the risks of financial effectively,analysis of indicators of financial information pertinently and conduct an early warning reasonably in order to make the company financial state of the best,is the focus and important issue of communications companies currently.Firstly,this paper uses the basis theory information economy and statistical science on the base of risk management research and case studies in domestic and international to define the financial risk of the communications industry,study the possible financial risks in the operating process combined with the actual financial situation of China's telecommunications operators,make an new ideas in financial risk management for China's telecommunications operators and determine the optimum choice for the Z-Score model as the financial risk management methods by the research and comparison. Secondly,this paper uses China Mobile and China Unicom as a typical case,analyzes their actual financial data recent years,verifies that the Z-Score model has a certain practical value for China's telecommunications operators. Lastly,It has made a number of independent views for building the risk management system of China's telecommunications operators.This research and analysis provide some of the recommendations of the advisory to build the financial risk management framework of China's telecommunications operators. In particular,it has a certain reference value by the face of complex financial risk identification and controlling increasingly for the management of the company.
