As the rapid development of information technology and the fierce compe-tition of market, inventory management plays an essential role in production, economic and trade. In recent years, the demand of products tends to be person-alized and diversified, therefore a higher requests for production management is presented and more interest in newsboy problem is unabated. In this thesis, multi-product inventory decision problems in complex environment are studied. The main contents are as follows:Firstly, the influence of advertising for multi-product inventory decision-making is studied. Assuming advertising expenditure can impact the mean of the demand, a multi-product newsboy problem under budget constraint is developed. Through the analysis of the model's character, a line search method is proposed to find optimal solutions. Numerical examples and sensitivity analysis are made to show the effectiveness of the algorithms and the model.Secondly, an inventory control problem under a given service level is pre-sented. Service level is expressed as the weighted value of the capacity that stock satisfies customers'demand of every item. The multi-product newsboy problem with service level constraint is discussed in this thesis. The existence and uni-queness of optimal solutions is demonstrated and an algorithm for finding the optimum order policy is given. Numerical examples and sensitivity analysis are shown the rationality of the model. Finally, the impact of price contract and service level in multi-product in-ventory management is considered. Under service level constraint, a multi-product newsboy problem with compound contract consisting of a fixed price contact and an option price contact is developed. An algorithm is proposed to solve optimal order quantity of every item after the analysis of the model. Numerical examples and sensitivity analysis are provided to illustrate the advan-tage of the algorithm and the model.
