The Competitiveness Research Of The Regional Logistics Industry

It is the inevitable requirement for the development of regional industry to analysis the regional industry competition and determine its competitive strength. As the strong linkage between the development of related industries on the national economy, regional logistics is not only the major ways and means of the change in the mode of economic growth in the industrial, and become the new point of the economic growth in logistics activities, but also prove to be the important marks which should make the development of the national economy achieved by extensive will be refined.The dissertation is firstly determined the logistics industry as its research object,the regional industrial competitiveness in related research as its theoretical basis, then on the basis of the competitiveness of the logistics industry from home and abroad, and at the same time to combine with the actual characteristics of the logistics industry, the purpose is to define the regional logistics, the regional logistics industry and the competitiveness of the regional logistics industry. Secondly, started from the regional logistics industry and its competitive meaning and constitute, the dissertation is combined with the evaluation of the principles of industrial competitiveness to build a evaluation index system of the regional logistics industry competitiveness. Thirdly the factor analysis is used to calculate the scores of the exogenous, endogenous and competitiveness of the 31 provinces'(municipalities')logistics industry from 2005 to 2009,then make sort with the scores, through the comparative analysis, we can see the changes in the in the competitiveness of logistics industry, and find obvious gradient difference in the competitiveness level between the logistics industry of the provinces(cities), so we use the cluster analysis to classify the 31 provinces (municipalities) which is through the competitiveness of composite scores. Finally, based on empirical results, we can not only make proposals to the whole logistics industry in the country, but also on the point of advantages and disadvantages of the provinces (municipalities) to seek for their suitable development strategy, and all this is to fundamentally improve the logistics industry in the overall competition force.
