The Comprehensive Evaluation Of Regional Logistics Industrial Competitiveness

Based on competition and industrial competitiveness theories in economics, This article studies the level of development of the regional logistics industry and competitiveness. The advanced logistics organization provides protection of efficiency for the modern economy. As an important component of the tertiary industry, the logistics industry's rapid development has injected new vitality into the modern economy. Many areas regard the development of logistics industry as an important part of the local economic development. Therefore, the discussion of the theory and method of logistics industry competition and the comprehensive evaluation of logistics industry is a major practical problem on the process of the local modern economic development. Be different from traditional industries, logistics industry involves many aspects and sectors of the national economy and it's a cross-industry and cross-cutting service industry. This article analyses the regional logistics from the industrial level, defines the concept of the logistics industry firstly and on this basis, defines the concept of the logistics industry competitiveness.After the definition of the logistics industrial competitiveness, this paper first from the theoretical analysis, has a systematic study of literature at home and abroad about industrial competitiveness and discusses the theory sources and the formation mechanism and stage of development of industrial competitiveness. Then, this paper focuses on analysis of several classic theoretical model of industrial competitiveness. According with these theoretical models, combined with the characteristics of the regional logistics industry, this article builds a model of regional logistics industrial competitiveness that is not only the focus of theoretical analysis but also the core model of this paper. Based on this model of regional logistics industrial competitiveness, according to related logistics data of some areas of china and combined with the relevant statistical analysis method, this article has an empirical research on china's regional logistics industry evaluation. As Zhejiang Province for an example, analyze the level of development of logistics in Zhejiang Province and conduct a comparative analysis to inter-province.By analyzing the impacts of the regional logistics industry, this paper builds a model of regional logistics industrial competitiveness. The main impacts of the competitiveness of the regional logistics industry are environmental factors, technical factors, market factors, business factors, related industries factors and regional logistics. Regional environmental factors include infrastructure construction and natural resources and regional economic development environment; a region's logistics industrial competitiveness is closely related to technological development in the region level and the capacity of innovative activities; market factors mainly including the process of regional markets, market size and so on; business factor is micro-business factor that constitutes a regional logistics competitiveness; factor in the development of related industry, that is the logistics industry is an integrated complex industry, the development of related industries have a major impact on the level of development of the logistics industry. These aspects constitute the logistics industrial competitive economic analysis paradigm. According with the general theoretical model of industrial competitiveness, combined with the characteristics of the logistics industry itself, this article builds a model of regional logistics industrial competitiveness. The comprehensive competitiveness of the logistics industry is divided into the overt competitiveness of the logistics industry, the based competitiveness of the logistics industry and the logistics environment competitiveness. This model makes clear explication to the process and influencing factors of logistics industrial competitiveness.Based on the model of logistics industrial competitiveness, this article constructed a comprehensive evaluation index system of the logistics industrial competitiveness. The logistics industrial competitiveness should be discussed from the size, efficiency, structure, demand, and environmental. Using principal component analysis method, this paper sort and evaluate the logistics industrial competitiveness of the various provinces of china. Then this paper carries out a horizontal comparison of the logistics industrial competitiveness not only between Zhejiang province and other provinces but also inter-province of Zhejiang. The comparison on Zhejiang province and Guangdong, Jiangsu, Shangdong, Shanghai, Beijing can be seen that Zhejiang province has a weak competitiveness of the logistics industry as a whole. Zhejiang is in the lower-middle level in these provinces or cities. The horizontal comparison of inter-province in Zhejiang shows that the differences of the logistics industrial level are relatively large. Hangzhou and Ningbo have leading positions in the aspects of size, efficiency, structure, infrastructure, and environment.Based on the analysis of the regional logistics industrial competitiveness, this article focuses on the development and competitiveness of Zhejiang logistics industry. The result of empirical and comparative analysis shows that the logistics industry of Zhejiang province faces a number of problems to be solved. Therefore, this article concludes with a series of feasible policy recommendations.
