The Research On Resource Endowment, Industrial Structure Rigidity And Transformation Of Inner Mongolia Region

Resource-based areas are Chinese main productive bases of the modernization, they play an important part in economic system of China. Because of the specificity of the economic development in resource-based areas, the problems in the economic development are obviously different from other areas, such as industrial structure rigidity,recession of the resource-based industry and restructuring of the regional economic structure.How we solve these problems and smoothly take the path of sustainable economic development, that are problems resource-based areas faced and solved.qualitative and quantitative analysis, statistics and quantitative analysis methods are used in this paper, it research the resources,industrial structure rigidity and transformation of Inner Mongolia. Firstly, we across the definition of resource-based standards which proposed by previous, from the industry location quotient, resource-based industry output, number of employees and corporate targets and several other areas of Inner Mongolia, defined it as the resource-based area. On this basis, established evaluation index system from four performances of resource-based area industries rigidity ,and then in time and space angle comparative analysis the industrial rigidity of Inner Mongolia . From the time perspective, based on the 1999-2008 industrial structure date of the Inner Mongolia,and using principal component analysis method evaluated the industrial structure Rigidity comprehensive evaluation index of each year, the study found the industrial structure in Inner Mongolia over the past decade was significantly enhanced rigidity trend; in space perspective, we select the zero resources region, Zhejiang Province and the national average as the reference object, using the weighted average method measures three regions industrial structure rigidity in 2008, was found Inner Mongolia's industrial structure rigidity index was significantly higher than the reference region, then come to a conclusion like this:the more resource-rich intensity of regional, the greater rigidity of its industrial structure. Industrial structure rigidity posed a severe test for long-term economic development of Inner Mongolia, in order to rsolve it, industrial structure restructuring is necsssary.Therefore this paper studied industrial restructuring of Inner Mongolia in the final chapter,based on smmarizing successful experiences at home and abroad,proposed alternative industries and nurturing are the keys to achieving restructuring, Based on previous experience and the actual situation of Inner Mongolia, we designed index system for selection of the alternative industry by calculating composite index in selection of the alternative industry,taked Inner Mongolia alternative industry as object.Finally, the paper put forward relevant policy recommendations for the industrial restructuring of the Inner Mongolia.
