In recent years, especially after the international financial crisis in2008, our countryhaspaid moreattention to the planning and development of the logistics industry: firstly, the actions include the ranking of the logistics industry as one of the ten promising industry, the introduction of Restructuring and Revitalization Planning of the Logistics Industry, and the advancement of the manufacturingcombination development of mechanisms and logistics industry; Secondly, the local governments depend on the actual situation in various regions to put forward logistics development planning rules so that the concept of regional logistics has been further strengthened. Regional logistics demand is considered as the foundation for the development of regional logistics industry and its size and structures of demand areundoubtedly the two most critical factors. It is well known that the logistics industry as a producer servicein the national economy is affected by many factors:the level of regional economic development, regional industrial structure and product structure, the spatial distribution of the regional economy, macroeconomic policy and many other unexpected factors. At present, our country is at the critical stage to promote industrial structure optimization and change patterns of development so that industrial structure factors of regional logistics demand appear more prominent than ever before. The thesis is based on such background and the author will summarize the structure of the thesis as follows.1. This thesisfocuses on two key words which are regional logistics demand and industrialstructure and they set up the theoretical basis of the thesis. This thesis firstly defines the connotation of the regional logistics demand, analyzes its characteristics and uses the idea of system toanalyze constituent elements of the regional logistics demand deeply. And the constituent elements can be divided into six elements which are subject, time, space, price, quantity and technology. Secondly, the thesis defines the industrial structure and summarizes the theoretical studies on the Evolution of Industrial Structure made by Europe and the United States, Japan and China.2.This thesis takes Chengdu for example from the perspective of the magnitude value of the logistics and uses input-output method to analyzethe relationship between regional industrial restructuring and the development of the logistics industry. The conclusion is thatin the regions where the economic development is inthe mid-industrialization, the secondary industry has the greatest demand for logistics products and services and these products and services has the characteristics of the intermediate products with low added value; The secondary industry has many sectors including those leading industries whichbecome the main body of the total logistics needs in a region.3. From the aspect of the logistics physical quantity, the thesisuses the radial basis neural network method to setRBF neural networks of regional industrial structure and scale of logistics needs, the internal structure of the industrial sector andlogistics demand structure. The paper also makes a study of Chengdu to get the same research results with the conclusions of the previous chapter and finds the key sectors affecting the logistics needs of Chengdu.4. On the basis of the above studies, the thesis tries to carry out a forward-looking discussion of "The Twelfth Five Years"Chengdu logistics industry development.
