Guangdong CF Muffler Co., LTD, as an enterprise of 23 years'development, specializes in the production of various kinds of car exhaust system. The customers mainly distribute in Guangdong, Hainan, Xiamen, etc. With the continuous and rapid development of Chinese economy, Chinese auto industry boosted"explosively", and thus speeded up the development of auto spare parts industry. Foreign investment and joint venture auto muffler enterprises flooded in China, and occupied the market with advancing technologies. At the same time, domestic spare parts industry also enhanced its own all-around qualities through efforts. The factors above threatened Guangdong CF Muffler Company seriously. Therefore, Guangdong CF Muffler Company had to reevaluate its operating environment and select special competitive strategies to outstand in the changeable competitive environment.This essay first uses PEST and the"Five Elements of Competitiveness"analysis model to analyze the competitive environment, then unveils the major competitive forces that Guangdong CF Muffler Company faces, and analyzes the advantages, disadvantages, opportunities and threats of this company's outer industrial environment and inner resources by means of SWOT matrix analysis model.Concluding from various analyses, Guangdong CF Muffler Company built up the strategic blueprint of thriving to become the largest professional auto muffler supplier in South China and to become the premier cost supplier by means of differentiation competitive strategy.
