With the development of the hotel industry in China, foreign large hotel group enter in China.State-owned restaurants and hotel also actively adjust the strategy, efforts to develop new market and business, and expand the market share. In this case, our country traveling hotel market competition as hot as ever, only rely on the traditional market marketing strategy can't contend with the advanced hotel. In recent years, the China hotels are learning new knowledge and new methods to improve their competitiveness.Revenue management is to get the maximum benefit of the market, based on the analysis of the market supply and demand, selling products with the most appropriate price. Revenue management theory and methods used in the United States air transportation industry firstly, and then spread to the hotel. Until in the 21st century, Chinese airlines began to use revenue management system to manage the plane ticket sales. A few restaurants and hotel also began to use revenue management technology to manage the room sales, madding great achievements.This paper can be divided into five parts.The first part describes the research background, the research significance, the research content and methods.The second part, Describes the theory of the hotel revenue management, then introduces the concept and development of the revenue management and hotel revenue management, then expounds the characteristics of the hotel industry and the element of hotel revenue management.The third part Introduces the general situation of the holiday hotel, and analyzes the problems of the hotel in business management. These questions caused the hotel in market competition at a disadvantage status, reduce the competitiveness and the potential gains of the hotel. The third part also analyzes the reason of the problem in the business management. There are two main reasons, one is the lack of high quality management personnel, the other is employees don't understand revenue management.The fourth part put forward the strategy that the holiday hotel how to implementation revenue management, on the basis of the above analysis. The fourth part of the paper also introduces the problems which need to attention in the process of implementing the revenue management.The last part concludes the main conclusion of the paper and the contribution to hotel revenue management. This study has analyzed the shortcomings and the insufficiency, puts forward the directions for future research.
