International project in technology, economic and construction organization is more complex, more uncertainty, risk and interest is accompanied, to our country engineering construction enterprise project risk management research, very practical significance.This paper on China's A company to undertake the Ethiopia ETC optical cable communication engineering project risk management research. The thesis first introduces the relevant theory of project risk management, including risk identification, evaluation, response, monitoring, as well as the international project risk management of the relevant knowledge. The paper introduces and applies two risk assessment methods-risk evaluation index and risk assessment matrix, is used to determine the critical and important risk. Secondly, using the theory of risk management to A company of Ethiopia ETC optical cable communication engineering project risk management research and analysis. The project involves the risk undertook combing, the analysis and discussion, and the use of risk index and risk matrix risk for a quantitative scoring, identified 12 main risk, study the important risk measures, and risk control mechanism and method are studied. The paper mainly adopts literature analysis, field survey method, discusses the risk control part from the PDCA management thought. The main research conclusion, to effectively do a good job of project risk management, must take the risk management in project management, risk control and project management complement each other; risk factors is a constantly changing things, must take the risk management throughout the project life cycle; effective risk management mechanism the successful implementation of project risk management is the key.
