An International Comparative Study On Three-gap Model: A Case Of China

China's reforming and opening up has already been more than 30 years, China's economy has a rapid development, at the same time, there are also many problems should not be ignored. From internal and external two different perspectives, China's economic situation is not optimistic, we should understand this situation, China's economic growth mode is not reasonable, it depends on investment to promote the development of economy excessively, and it excessively emphasis on the government to stimulate the economy, double-surplus exist for a long time, the total demand and total supply are imbalance in the domestic, the internal and external imbalances of the situation that China is facing a huge risk.Three-gap model is an effective tool for studying economy, especially for the developing countries. This article base on the comparative analysis of existing research results, innovation to use the ratio of the gap value and the GDP as standard, analyzes those countries'economics operation mechanism, try to draw useful conclusions from horizontal and longitudinal comparison analysis.This paper first analyzes various research about the three-gap model in the world, and then compares the saving gap, fiscal gap and foreign gap's operation situations between different countries and regions, this as the reference for using three-gap model to find the deep problems which exist in the process of China's economic development, and then analysis the characteristics and the influence factors of three gaps of China. Next, find out the relationship between these three gaps of China's economy. Finally, put forward some suggestions for China's economic balanced development.
