The automotive financial service is a new type of business arising from the development of the automotive industry abroad in the early20th century, and then the major automotive manufacturing companies began to set up their own automotive financial company engaged in the corresponding business. Automotive financial company on the mature market abroad has become a very important role in the automotive industry after a rather long period of development; it began to penetrate into every aspect of the automotive sales market, including Pre-Sales, Sale and After-Sales. And, China's first automotive financial companies--GMAC-SAIC Automotive Financial Co., Ltd. appeared in2004, and then the foreign auto manufacturers began to set up their automotive financial companies successively in the following years. The rapid growth in automotive production and sales in recent years makes China become one of the world's largest automotive markets. The automotive financial companies also step into the very rapid development period with the booming of China's automotive market. The author of this article had two internships in Volvo automotive financial (China) Co., Ltd.(Shortening:VFS) in last three years when VFS had a rapid growth. Though VFS developed rapidly in recent years, it meets some problems in human resources management as a newly established company and one of the only two automotive financial companies in commercial areas. It worth to research what the causes are the human resources issues during the development processes.The article points out the inadequacies of the research base on the induction of scholars basis of the corporate life cycle theory, human resources management theory and automotive financial theory, and then presents the key issues of this study: in-depth study of the human resource management strategies of VFS from the perspective of corporate life cycle. After the systematically analyzing the current development situation of the domestic auto motive financial companies and VFS, the article define the life stage in the corporate life cycle based on the Ichak Adizes's corporate life cycle model and LI Ye's modified model through employee survey and data analysis, and finally revealed the company are in the growing stage of the corporate life cycle model. Then, the article made a detail analysis of the features of the enterprise one the growing stage and the appropriate human resource management strategies for them, concluded that VFS should be selected the following human resource management strategies at this stage:1. forward-looking human resources planning;2. multi-level&multi-dimensional staff training;3. staff recruitment and configuration from multi-channel;4. provide a positive salary system with a variety of incentives,5. to provide a smooth career path to employees;6. to strengthen the building of enterprise culture and employee relations management. The conclusions provide some reference guide in the choice of human resource management strategies for the development of Chinese automotive financial companies, especially the company in commercial area.
