| With the globalization of world economy, the competition among enterprises no longer fighting alone, rather, it is the competence of their supply chain management.That is why supply chain management came in to being. Inventory as a important part in supply chain management,with fine inventory management can enhance enterprise's competition,so inventory is treating more and more as a crucial factor that improve supply chain competence.To sustain normal production, enterprises can not avoid some inventory.Some company may have less inventory, although it lowers the percentage of liquidity fund, but it probably leads to excessive production,which may not satisfy the customers'demand. Other firms keeps relative high level of inventory that improves clients service ability, but it result in large mount of inventory management expenditure and creating capital dullness as well as low cash turnovers. Therefore, how to fix the appropriate amount of stocks and how to use inventory management to improve benefits and competence becomes the core problems of enterprises.This paper based on consolidation of company CQ'inventory management, reaching the goal of service level and combined revenues.The paper based on company CQ'workshop picking date in the year2011, andstarts from the material procedures of the CQ Company's inventory management, finding out various problems that stem in administration of the inventory, also doing analysis on those problems, figuring out the potential problems and solutions that may improve the situation.Analysis are divided into qualitative and quantitative aspects.Qualitative analysis mainly including the organizational structures, Examination system, material inspection standard, material release, the fixed number of material use five aspects and improvement suggestions are raised.Quantitative analysis primarily grounded on the introduction or ABC inventory classification, firstly orders the materials according to its price and then using traditional ABC inventory classification grouping the materials into three kinds.In line with the actual conditions of the company:A type material using JIT purchase strategy; type B materials employing Economic purchase model; type C materials based on the safe stock with regular purchase method. As regards of type B and type C materials, the purchase amount is calculated out by the all kinds of condition assumptions and the company existing data which reach the goal of optimization of inventory management. |
