All the social changes result from technology advancements. The concept of Internet marketing appeared due to the advent of the Internet; continuous improvements to Internet marketing strategies become necessary due to the growing penetration of the Internet. Internet marketing is unique because it targets global customers thanks to conveniences of the Internet. The number of Internet users in China, for example, increases by more than30%each year. All the businesses have been attracted by the number of consumers available through the Internet as a sales channel. Nonetheless, the Internet carries a sea of information in addition to a large number of consumers. With the availability of so much information, both companies and products have become nearly transparent, leading to fierce competition. It is unavoidable for companies in traditional industries/sectors to go online, while small-and medium-sized businesses (SMBs) are able to carry out branding through the Internet. How to make full use of the Internet has become an issue that every business pays much attention to.Traditional marketing is all about selling physical goods through real and transparent transactions, while online transactions present products in a virtual manner beyond time and space. As a result, traditional companies need to decide whether their products are suitable for online sales or not before starting e-commerce. It is a good choice to start from vertical markets if they want to quickly get a good position.With its unique characteristics, the Internet may serve as a base for branding. But it is more likely that a company goes bankrupt more quickly if it expects to make immense profits through online sales. SMBs may create their websites around branding before ultimately making profits through brand premium.Therefore, SSRH Company studied operation modes of similar companies before it started Internet marketing. It set up a company specializing in Internet marketing and a website selling underwear under its brand. It markets its products through various online promotion methods in a hope to increase its brand recognition through Internet marketing. It expects to make profits through brand premium after its brand becomes a well-known one.
