Economic Analysis On Piracy And Research On Non-violence Preventionnce

With the deepening of global economic integration, international exchange and international trade become more and more frequent. Ocean transportation is the main form of transportation used by the international community today, and the share of maritime trade in international trade continuously is increasing. Whether the international routes are safe or not are directly related to normality of trade activities between countries. However, in recent years the gradually rampant piracy threatens the safety of the international shipping and development of international trade, which causes international concern, and measures to prevent piracy is critical.In this paper, on the basis of predecessors' achievements, the evolution and characteristics of piracy are analyzed in detail, and the economic social causes of piracy are discussed. In recent years, the crime numbers of pirates have been gradually increasing; areas of activity are expanding continually; crime means and risk are also escalating; ways of crime tend to be collectivizing. The produce of pirates has a deep economic social root; poverty is the fundamental cause of piracy; low input and high yields of the attack makes pirates constantly desperate, which makes pirates long-standing and even get worse. Meanwhile, volatile political situation in the pirates'country provides social environment for piracy; the local government are too busy stabilizing the situation to give consideration to piracy, which makes the pirates in activities; the war weapons run off to the pirates'hand, which provides more convenient conditions for the rampant pirates. In addition, with the economics theory, the article analyses the piracy; it's that the rational decision of the pirates under the cost benefit theory, and the long-term constraint of piracy under utility theory.In order to evaluate the economic harm degree of piracy, based on the trend of global economic integration background, with the factor analysis method, the evaluation index system was set up, with the help of econometrics software SPSS, the factor analysis method and linear regression are used for model building to analyze the development trend of piracy's economic harm degree. On this basis, combine external intervention factors that countries all over the world have taken with piracy economic harm degree problems, and take the navy escort and ship ability against pirates itself as influential factors, using economic analysis method, to establish multivariate linear regression model, and then influence produced by the involved various external factors to economic damage degree of piracy is analyzed and tested. In addition, the global average cost because of piracy and guarding against the pirates was roughly worked out.At last, according to the analysis above, from the two aspects of increasing crime cost of piracy and reducing the crime motive of the pirates, some solutions against piracy non-violently are put forward.
