Liang jiang New Area has formally founded in2010,with the deepening opening, economic benefit will be further expanded, the people's livingstandard will be better. However, meanwhile, we need to think about the following questions:what`s the trend of the differences among the income and consumption, social security,property, education in chongqing between the rural and urban areas, how the degree ofopenness influences urban-rural difference on earth? The changes of urban-rural differencehas a direct impact on the development of chongqing`s economic and the process ofUrban-rural Harmonious. Therefore, review the influence of the opening up to the urban-ruraldifference has important realistic meaning and theoretical significance. And compared the income gap between urban andrural among Chongqing and the three other directcontrolled municipality as well as thenational, mainly reflecting the characteristics of Chongqing.Chapter4is the empirical part.First of all, take into account the differences among the urban and rural income,consumption, property and education, construct an index system to evaluate the gap betweenurban and rural areas in Chongqing and using comprehensive index method to measurechanges of Chongqing urban-rural gap in recent years, and then set on foreign tradedependency and the capital reliance as open index, and empirical research on the influence ofthe gap between the urban and rural areas. Through an empirical research found that developforeign trade and introduction of foreign capital are making Chongqing urban and rural gapon a shrinking trend.Chapter5is the section clarifies the conclusion, policy proposals and the prospects forfurther research. This part summarizes the study conclusions, and put forward correspondingpolicy recommendations in order to help Chongqing to narrow the gap between urban andrural areas, and put forward a possibility of further research in the last.
